My first catch

Below is a video showing my first catch and introducing one of my good friends who was my roommate back in 2007.



As you can see, we weren't very organised when it came to doing something with the fish but verily I say you, the fish was did get eaten the following night. We cooked it over a slow, open fire with butter and herbs. Very tasty. This was one of my first fishing experiences and let me tell you it took what seemed like an eternity to finally catch a fish. The fish in the video was caught the same night I got back from a camping trip to Morvian Falls, North Carolina. I had spent days by the lake trying to hook a fish but had no luck! Patience does pay off though, I was fortunate enough to have this fish in the video actually leap out of the water, right into my canoe! To make this even more amazing, there was only about a 2 foot gap between my boat and the dock. Maybe I had him cornered!
